EDC under 4oz

I'm looking for a good utility folder that is 4oz or less.
I'm a little more concerned with weight now because I'm trying to make my EDC system more comfortable. I'm getting a Streamlight Stylus Pro and a Leatherman S2 Juice and swapping them for my current EDC Streamlight Scorpion LED and LM Charge ALX. I'm basically trying to get my system so that I hardly know it's there but it's there when I need it. Grabbing a Maxpedition OCTA Versipack or a Mountainsmith Vibe fanny pack to facilitate carrying this stuff and just streamlining.

I like a pocket clip, really any lock style works for me. the main thing is I'm looking for a good EDC folder that is slim and good quality for no more than $70. I don't want to be too pissed if I lose my knife. (although that's only happened once)I want the best steel I can get for the money and the best overall materials for the money being spent.
I like Spyderco, I've got a Spyderco D4 but it's a little small, I'd like something that would work for self defense if need be. I'm thinking about the SOG Flash 1.

In the end I might just get a new pocket clip for my D4 and use it, save some money, it's a good little knife.

Any suggestions?

P.S. fanny packs are only for dorks if you don't know what you're talking about, they are very functional!

Any size specifications? If size doesn't really matter than you may like a chive. It is a little small for me tough.

That's a good question :foot: Something that isn't too big. I know for example the Spyderco Police is about the weight I'm after in the G10 handles and it's too big. I'm looking for something small to medium sized. Something that isn't too big for an EDC system and wont make me wish I went smaller, you know? I'm actually re-evaluating and I think my Spyderco D4 is good enough for the time being so I guess this thread is going to give me better ideas for upgrading in the future. I just need to order a new pocket clip for that D4, I messed mine up :grumpy:

Boker Trance, Kershaw Leek, Kershaw Chive, Kershaw OD-1, Spyderco Caly3.. lots and lots of good options.

Look into the Spyderco Pacific Salt. Slim, light, similar design to your Delica and completely rust proof.

Spyderco Centofante 3 and 4 are also good, and are quite slim and light.

Well I just got a Kabar D2 Dozier and I absolutely love it. It does not have a pocket clip but it's very light. 2.80 oz I believe. Its holds an edge very well, and is easy to sharpen.
I had STR add a pocket clip to mine if you have to have one. I did :)

I would suggest the Kershaw RAM then, not huge but not small either. It also doesn't have a back spacer making it lighter and easier to clean. As for your clip problem if your clip got caught on something and you bent it, you could always try bending it back.

The Spyderco D4 is the Delica 4 right? If that is small (as stated in your first post), then you are looking at a 3+ inch blade right?

Spyderco Endura. 3.75 inch blade, VG10 steel, and 3.6 oz. $50+.

BM full size Grip. 3.45 inch blade, 154CM, and 3.25 oz.
$70ish.

I just traded for a Benchmade 530

It has 154cm blade steel, the axis lock, and a spear point blade, all in a super slim package that weighs less than 2 ounces!

I'm pretty excited to get mine and check it out.
