Hello. I must say that while understanding what the Janich knives are all about, I find the shape really good for some of the warehouse and office work I do and other things, though it is never the only knife on me.

The Yojumbo had an S90V version made, and the Yojimbo was made in 20CV (wish I had not sold that), M4 and Cruwear (which I have) in addition to the S30, so I think some EDC application was expected and intended. They also have an official version of the MicroJimbo (rolls off the tongue) now, which was being made by 5x5, custom, for a while, along with custom, flat ground Delcas/Endelas/Enduras from Mickey Yurco and Janich both. I own the VG10 Endura version and I think the thin knife along with flat grind will help it excel at EDC tasks, want to compare the difference between, say, my Yojimbo, a very thick knife at the spine but very thin at the edge due to the sick hollow grind.

The full power cuts of these must apple to some. What's your onion on the situation?

Love the Cruwear in the Yo2 and the flat VG10 on the Endura. Some pics with a Native 5 for size comp

Look at the different handles. The Yojumbo has em all beat wise of size by being 4" and 3.7mm thick while the Yoj2 is 4mm thick but that edge, man...

Thickness and length of dip - Endura, Ronin, Yoj2 and Yojumbo. The Endura is clearly the thinnest, the Yo2 thickest.

Flat compared to that deep hollow

Any use reports?

My Yojimbo is murder on cardboard and ebay packages. I would like to carry it as a neck knife but I don't have a suitable sheath.
They make good neck rigs, some self deploy iirc! Installing a wave is the way to go for quick deploy on this though.

But yeah, these are mean slicing machines, especially given mine is Cruwear, I do not have the fear of exposing 20CV to staples or something, but then again I know Spydie does that steel better than most doing M390

Super useful blade shape for any kind of utility cuts. The really pointy tip on the Yojimbo2 even helped me remove a splinter one time. They're super good at slicing cardboard for sure. Really enjoy a good wharncliffe. I look at it like an overgrown box cutter. There's a reason regular box cutters have the same blade shape.

I have a modified endura like yours. Even though it looks pretty awesome I've decided I don't enjoy it enough, and probably should let it go to a new home. I cut a lot of food and it's shape is not ideal for that. But exactly as you say, it's like an oversized box cutter.
