EDC vs. Delica?

I was wondering how 154CM compares to VG-10 for those of you who have experience with both.

Also, how does an EDC compare to a Delica in terms of size, weight, etc? I've handled a Delica but not an EDC.

I have looked at the specs but I'm after a more subjective opinion on how the two carry, fit in the hand, etc

Are both equal in blade thickness? What about lateral movement?

The EDC is a very nice knife, well built and durable, but I went back to carrying a Delica as the metal handle was just too slippery for me. I wanted a knife that could be used for defensive purposes and the EDC doesn't fit the bill, IMHO.
