D2 carbidized blade with single layer carbon fiber handle scales. I've been edcing this for about a year now, and it's almost
as sharp as when I got it, and believe me it was sharp! I don't think I'll ever have to sharpen this knife thanks to the carbidizing. I carry it in my front pocket. I love this little guy. Thanks again Ban! Here's some photos, I just polished it up.

Sweet man! It still looks brand spankin new. Good to know that it is put to good use. The carbidizing is pretty darn good stuff if you don't mind the toothy working edge. On a hard substrate like D2 it should last a long time.
 
Pretty cool blade. I am not familar with the carbidizing...doe iit make it harder to sharpen or do you have to sharpend the blade less?
