I'm not a beckerhead yet, but I am Die hard Kabar fan and the route I go is:
Small fixed blades! Slipjoints and friction folders are also acceptable options. Other than that, my blade fetish lies with fixed blades.
Oddly enough my small fixed blade is not a Kabar at all, It's an older German Import "Koller". But the D'eskabar beckons to me.
I just wish Kabar's D2 prices weren't so high..

Also here's the link to a thread on another forum with detailed pics in the 7th post of a make extremely similar to the one that I have and it shares identical blade markings (don't feel like busting out camera phone)
there's only a slight difference in blade shape. If you look closely, mine doesn't have nearly as high of a drop off along the spine, it's more of a straighter, thinner type clip point.http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/showtopic.php?tid/834189/

My EDC is my izula 2. I don't usually carry folders aside the SAK spartan i keep on my keychain. I don't really like folders in general but the ones i do like are either SAKs or the traditional jacks.

The funny thing is that those little dinos in ur pic are often in my edc rotation-along with star wars guys, used tissues, misc rocks found on the ground and a pacifier

Close, but I didn't ask for the full EDC lineup, just whether or not they carried a folder or only Becker.

I dont EDC Beckers unless I am on a trip out into remote or rural areas. In the city it's usually just folders. Here are some folders that I EDC.
