I'm looking for a new EDC and am not sure what to get. I want a durable knife with the best steel I can afford. I've been looking at the paramilitary 2 but I think it may be to big for what I want. I also like the knife to be something I can play around with and be real smooth. I looking to spen about 120 or less

The Para 2 would probably be fine, I found it a little too small for me. It has a pretty smooth action and the compression lock seems to be tough.

I actually just pre-ordered the para-2 and just in case you dont know they are a little hard to find right now if you want a slightly smaller blade with good steel i would maybe consider something from spyderco's sage series

I would look at the Spyderco Manix2 or Native in something other than VG10. Perhaps a Sage mentioned above. I tend to prefer an EDC knife sized about like a Delica more or less. It is one of the reasons I really like the ZT 0770CF which I hear can be purchased for about $140 now. I found the Endura just a tad too large for me day-in/day-out edc carry. But everyone is different.
