someone on another forum suggested this looked like a "mini-fighter", actually it's a utility/every day user built to customer specs....8" OAL, 3 7/8" blade flat ground from 5/32" 01, buffalo horn with nickel-silver fittings & mosaic pins....

Not what I'd think of if you said, "EDC", but it sure is pretty and it looks like it sure could handle the job.

This knife really does seem to be in the styke of the small tacticals (mini-bowies?) that are so popular right now. This is a very nice example. Is that real turquoise or a synthetic?

thanks for the positive comments guys....Keith, the stone is reconstituted, i.e., ground into powder form, mixed with resin & ???, (secret recipe), & quick fried to a crackly crunch....

Frank is a great gentleman to work with. I contacted him a few weeks ago just to let him know how much I've enjoyed seeing his work here on this forum. Through our e-mails, I've posed the possibilities of a couple EDC designs I was interested in having custom made and before I knew it, he was already building them for my viewing. So, I'm the lucky owner of this beautiful piece. So Frank, thanks again for bringing this piece into reality for me!
