How do y'all do it? I don't have any fancy rigs, just a belt, but it works, right?

Depends on the blade for me. But I tend to wear a jacket with a large kangaroo pocket in the front that can hold up to a 12 inch kukri, though if I carry an HI blade there it's usually an IBBB. An IBBB can also fit in the front pocket of most non-jean pants, and can fit in some cargo pockets. If I needed to carry a full-sized kukri it would probably just be on my belt.

Being a full time sitter (plumb lazy I guess) Pugs built me a sheath with some D rings that I can sling on a camera strap and where over my shoulder.

I don't go around town with it although I want to with my Curved Spine which is in reality cooler than Bookies. Have to get one made for it some day.

I do where it with my KLVUK when I ride the lawn mower. Any branch brush or predator that whips me in the face etc gets the edge. Funny I actually seek out errant branches and such.

My IBBB which really isn't a khuk rides with me full time. If I'm wearing a belt which is most all the time it's on it.
Like a little piece of HI as my riding pard ya know. If it's possible for a man to be in love with a piece of inanimant steel, this is it. Maybe we should make a movie. Man and his knife, a love story!

Harrrummp! Bawanna, you've been smokin' too many of them piney cones up there and trust me, reality escapes you!

Taco--Please forgive my ignorance, but please decypher EDC. I am not familiar with this term and am wondering if in my neck of the woods, we call it something else. Thanks.

Trying to figure out a frog I can slip on my khukuri that allows me to piggyback my IBBB, something adjustable to fit over different sheaths, or be undone completely to get the IBBB sheath off the frog. Thinking something wuth a cut, then strung back together with leather strips.

I don't really EDC them but when I'm carrying a khuk I tend to ditch the frog and carry it crossdraw through a belt/sash-even the 15's are awkward hanging, and strong side they take forever to get out. Crossdraw frog carry is better, but atill really needs two hands.

Did reality escape me or did I escape reality? That is the question. Did Shakespeare say that?

Darth, just ring up Pugs or Wildman on the ding a ling or the cyber telegraph machine and tell them your wants. They are like Disneyland, never be done as long as there's imagination left in the world. Both do good stuff.

Agreed... cross draw tends to be faster and more reliable way to draw a khuh.

Sometimes you see pictures of gurkhas carrying the kukri on their belt, in the middle of the back. How do they draw it without removing a kidney along the way?
