I find myself really wanting an EDC, and am planning on getting the 154-CM version. What are owners' experiences of this steel in this particular knife, and Camillus' version in general, in regards to general edge-holding, ease of resharpening, corrosion resistance, etc.? How would it compare to other companies' versions of this steel?
Thanks for any comments.

The only thing I don't like about the new version is the "tumble finish"... I know it helps to keep the cost down tho. I'd pay a little more to get a satin finish anyday.

I have a 154-CM on the way right now. I carry a small Sebenza currently and plan to rotate in the Cuda EDC and do a comparison.

By tumble finish, is that like a stone-washed finish?
I hope it's not bead-blasted. I like satin finish and also stone-washed finish.

It's stone-washed. And a pretty even, nicely done stone-wash at that. The EDC is a handy little knife, with great lock-up and a big blade packed inside a small handle. It cuts well and takes a good edge. If you have huge hands, you may find the handle too small. I prefer beefy handles, and it is just barely big enough. That makes it carry pretty nicely, though. The styling is really excellent as well, making the whole design seem to flow nicely. Mine, for some reason, rusts really easily. Even the handle, which is made out of 420 series stainless. I'm one of those guys who has sweat that'll rust anything out there, so take that for what it's worth. If you get one, I'm sure you'll enjoy having it around. They're definitely worth the price.

Thanks for the info!
I like stone-washed finishes...as long as it's not bead-blast. ;)

I may pick one up tomorrow...I have somewhat small hands so the size may be fairly ideal for me. It sounds like an ideal mid-sized frame-lock folder for when you need big knife performance but don't want to be as obvious about it. (I have other knives that fit that description, but still want an EDC). :)
