Eddie Baca custom does it again!

As some of you may remember, about 6 months ago I posted my new Eddie Baca custom wharncliffe folder. Many folks requested info from me about price etc. I was so pleased with Eddie's work and value, I immediately placed an order for another. Well, here it is. Pretty much the exact same as the wharncliffe, except I specified a tanto blade profile, thumbramp notches, and a checkered titanium backspacer. 6 months and $228.00 later, here she is.
Titanium liner lock, bolster, and back spacer. CF scales, and s30v steel blade.
Razor sharp out of the box, and perfectly executed fit and finish. What a deal.
Just sharing my new aquisition, and also pointing out that there are still some GREAT deals on custom work out there.

No problem Trane, your one of the main reasons I do. Since we have the same tastes in blades, and I know you like his work. Just kind of poking you with a stick, as it were. ;)

Now if we could just talk Chris into grinding us a couple of Wharnies also.

Eddie, Is a great guy and one hell of a maker. Defenatly one of the best deals out there. He has a great attention to detail and well thought out designs. Nice score, nitrox1

Saberman- Yes Eddie does seem like one hell of a guy. Unfortunately, I don't know him personally. Probably a good thing though. My wife would be pissed cause I'd be over at his house ALL the time learning about knives. His wife would be pissed cause, well, I'd be over at their house ALL the time. :D

Thank you John, I am glad that you are happy with your knife. This was the first knife I have done with a checkered backspacer, it took a couple of trys to get it right.

Fulloflead. give us a rundown of the show when you get back. Interested to hear what Eddie brought, and which one you bought. :D

I'll be going to the BAKCA show (Ca.) at the end of the month.
