This is essentially a copy of a post I made over over on the Traditional forum. Sorry for the duplicate, but I wanted to get Eddie White some air time here on Customs. His work is truly an outstanding value.
This is his latest, Shadow Knives model XI. He created this new model for me, and mine is serial #001:
Specs:
6-3/4" overall, 3-3/4" handle of sheephorn, 3" blade of 440C in a Wharncliff style.
Eddie was a joy to work with, and got this knife turned out in absolutely record time. I don't want to say exactly how short, as I don't want to set unrealistic expectations for others. Let's just say it wasn't the several months to several years that many makers quote.
Thanks to several of the members over on Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades for introducing me to Eddie's work, as well as giving me enough of an education to appreciate something like this.
