Joe,

When I got my new 532 2000 series, there was a slip in the box indicating that for a limited time and for $5, I could send in one of my Buck's to have the cutting edge reprofiled on the Edge 2000 method. No doubt this is accurate. My question is "would my 501MS benefit from this alteration?" I hope so, I need a better grind on this edge.

Do you have to have a separate "coupon" for each Buck returned for the Edge 2000? Can you photostat the coupon and submit more than one Buck knife? Thanks,

Tangus,
I would recomend that you send in your knives to my attention. The 501ms will go great in my collection! Just kidding! I would like to take a look at the edge on that knife though because it should already have the edge 2000.
Edge 2000 edges look rougher than our older edges because we use a hard leather wheel to remove the burr left by the edging process. Our old method used a soft cottom wheel for burr removal and this did polish the edge. It looked nice and polished but it was not as sharp as the Edge 2000. The roughness reflects the micro serrations which are now left in and which gives superior edges.

You only need one coupon and can send it to:
