Edge 2000 Upgrade

With my new knife from PCKS (great knife, but that's another post) came a coupon offering to upgrade any other Buck knife to the new Edge 2000. Is this new edge compatible with older blades that have a semi-hollow grind, like my old 2-dot 110, or just the newer full hollow grind blades?

Tim,

The new edge can be applied to an old blade. If the blade is already worn away, it may have to be replaced though. This is sometimes a problem if the knife is so old that today's blades will not fit in them.
