I cleaned this up a bit, put a new edge on it and ground the poll smooth. Did the wrap in thick Elk rawhide sewn with a herringbone/baseball stitch. The sheath is 11 oz latigo leather with a Sam brown stud and my own special way of doing it up. 
I asked on the forum if anyone could identify the maker. Devilpig came up with Sater Banko and I think he's right. They made axes for the Swedish military, closed in 1963 ish.
Amazing axe for softwood felling, just whacked down a couple of 8 inch poplars in a few swings.
