Edge Design Inc Genesis Folding Knife (Blades)

Like the last thread I posted with the Round Eye Knife and Tool, Here are some Edge Design Inc Genesis Folding Knife blades. There are 4 types. I have about 800 blades to the best I can tell with out counting them. Not a bad score. Here are some pics.

Is there more to it? Is there some story behind it? Or did you just buy a bunch of random blades? Consider me ignorant and curious, requiring further context and information.
 
I liked the Genesis model, I think the one that I have is the Genesis II (with G10 scales). It seems that mine doesn't have much blade detent. The thing I dislike about my knife is that the blade is bead blasted and that surface texture is hard to clean plus it seems to initiate corrosion too easily. I've thought about hand-sanding the blade to give it a satin texture but that would remove some of the factory markings.
