Edge holding pocket blade

Didn't really know where to post this, so here it lies. I'm sure this has been asked before, but I didn't really feel like wading around to find it. My question is: I'm searching for a new folder/automatic to carry in my pocket at work. This blade will be used for a lot of paper-based product cutting/slicing (cardboard boxes, envelopes, tape, etc etc). I've been looking at the Microtech Troodon, which is small enough to be carried in business casual work slacks and deployed quickly enough for these cutting tasks. It seems to fit the bill. Small enough to be carried discretely, D2 steel for long-lasting edge holding and quick deployment. Can anyone recommend anything that would/should work better in this environment and for this use? All recommendations will be considered and are appreciated.

Nice piece. Just checked it out. Great price and it states that edge holding is "unmatched". What's your opinion on the edge holding? I'm going to be using this knife daily on boxes and such. Can it hold up?

I have knives with D2, S30V, and BG-42 blades from a variety of manufacturers. My Fallkniven U2 holds an edge longer than any of them. Just remember that it is a small, lightly built knife. It excels as a cutter, but is not suited for anything resembling prying or hard work.

The edge holding is amazing and it takes a very fine edge. I have used mine pretty rough (within reason) in the past on wood and boxes and I haven't worried about damaging it. The U2 should be perfect for your purposes. :)
