Edge lacing?

Anyone know of any guides to lacing the edge of a sheath, available online? Until now, everything I've done was saddle-stitched, but I have a spool of thin leather lacing (accidentally ordered the wrong thing for a project) and I've decided to give it a try.

I just can't find any material showing me where to start.

Thanks.

Leather Braiding, Bruce Grant, 1950

This book is the Bible of braiding, covers edge, rope , flat. I haven't looked but it may be available on Googlebooks or one of those sites..........Randy

To add to Randy's suggestion, I'd contact Dave Cole of DC Knives. He is the authority on lacing, bar none.

Do a search here or nearly any other knife forum out there, he's there. :)

Bruce Grants Rawhide Encyclopedia. You can get at Barnes and Noble or from Tandy. You can get the Leather Braiding book at Tandy also.
