Edge pro Apex vs professional

So I am trying to decide if I buy the Apex if I will regret no buying the pro model. I don't sharpen for a living, it would mainly be used for myself and sharpening frends knives. I am posting because I look to the more experienced on this forum for advice. Thanks

I'd say the apex is more than enough sharpener for almost anything. If you want to try out the scissor attachment that only works with the pro model though, that's really the only limiting factor I can think of.
