Which of the two do you like better and why. The edge pro apex or the wicked edge system. Im looking at buying a new sharpening system and I dont know whick way to go. Im only sharpening pocket knives. Thanks

My suggestion would be to use the search function. The advantages/disadvantages have been debated numerous times.

I own a WE. I have no experience with the EP. The WE is the most expensive for sure. But you have to buy two of everything. It seems like there is more accessories and aftermarket for the EP. But I absolutely love my WE. I use diamonds stones up to 1000 then balsa strops to finish. With the diamonds I don't have to use water or oil so I don't end up with a slurry on my blade. not that its that hard to wipe that off. Ive never second guessed my decision to buy my WE

You'll get comparable results with either if you take the time to learn them. Get whichever you prefer from an ergonomic standpoint, and costs less for the full setup you'll eventually end up buying or gradually upgrading to.

I own a ep, and get absolutely incredible edges with minimal effort. I couldn't see paying so much more to get a similar result. (arguable of course)
I do hear great things about the WE but like I said, to me, the EP is more than enough.
Insanely sharp, beautiful polished edge, and very convenient and easy to setup and use.

Get the chosera stones, drill stop collar , a couple of magnets , and a quick change spring, and you'll be wondering how much better an edge can possibly get.

Chef knives to go has that chosera stone kit for a reasonable price.
