Hi all

Can someone give me some tips sharpening a very small pocket knife on the Edge Pro Epex. Are there any good videos. What is the over all Belval on a small pocket knife. When I use the felt pen method. It seems like I am sharpening at approximately 30°. To me that seems high. Am I doing something wrong. I seem to get a okay edge but not real good.

Thanks Roger

Good evening all

How many of you are APEX MODEL EDGE PRO SYSTEM users. I just got mine a couple days ago and so far I love it. Having a little trouble with very small folding pocket knives but with my slightly larger folding knives like my Spyderco Sage it works great. I know it is me and it is a learning curve and I am still learning. I was able get my Spyderco Sage very very sharp. I got it better than the factory edge. Anyway how many of you are using this sharpening system and what do you all think.

A new option has just come out for use in sharpening smaller knives. Check out the Edge Pro website. It's a pretty reasonable price. If not interested in that, there are videos on the Edge Pro website explains how to use a small block of wood under the smaller blades.

Yes just talk to Ben about the small knife attachment. I pre-ordered one just now because they are out of stock. Thanks for the information.

Good to hear about the small knife attachment. I always thought having to fashion a "riser block" was a bit of a nuisance for a sophisticated and high dollar system.

Anyone know how small a blade the attachment will accommodate, and at what angle---e.g., a small pen blade at 15 dps?

Thanks,

Andrew
