Has anyone had any success using the normal Edge Pro stones on the slight recurve of the ZT 300 series?
I just got my Edge Pro and I really like it and now want to mirror the edge on my ZT301, but my 301 is my favorite folder and I don't want to mess it up in anyway.
Thanks in advance and if you have any pictures of your Edge Pro-ed 300 series I would love to see them.

Yes, I reprofiled my ZT 301 to 36 degrees inclusive on the EP with the standard 1" stones. No problem with the recurve. I just taped up the blade to avoid scratching the pretty DLC coat.

Tape it or it will scratch but otherwise it works great. I did have a time getting one spot sharp but it eventually happened. You won't be disappointed.

edge pro makes 1/2" stones that work well for knives with recurves, but I think on a knife that size you will likely be okay.

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate it!
And, a big thanks to singularity35 for the info and the pics!
I will have to do it then, now that my MPR can whittle a hair I want its big brother to be able to as well (they are surprisingly similar knives).

Hmmm... MPR is Benchmade; 301 is Zero Tolerance... Who's their daddy? :D
