My bearing surfaces are aluminium on aluminium. The friction is pretty immense but is countered well with grease. Plastic on aluminium was worse.
It looks like the edge pro has a plastic bushing and steel rod. How is the friction so low? Are there any surface features I should know about? How tight are the tolerances? Could it be that the plastic I use is just not suitable as a bushing material?
A linear ball bushing bearing is what i think I will end up with but finding one locally for a good price isn't possible. Tons from china though...
