Ive noticed that many people only use their edge pro for profiling work or serious sharpening jobs. Some complain about the inconvenience of having to set it up, and others just like to use their Sharpmakers or other sharpening systems for quick touch ups. The first and only sharpener I bought/have is the Edge Pro Apex 4 so all my quick touch ups are done with it. I didn't want to shell out another $60 on the glass stand they have for the system so i went about making my own, which is easy enough a child could make it.
I went to home depot and bought a thin granite tile and some vinyl floor pegs. This stand works great for the suction cups on the Edge Pro and I can keep the Sharpener set up on the stand and put the whole thing onto a shelf. Now when I get home I can do a quick touch up on whatever knife i used for the day and it takes 3 minutes.

I thought I'd share this for all the Edge Pro users who hate assembling/disassembling their system and think it can't be used for quick touch ups.
