I got my Skirmish back today from Edge-Pro, they turned it into a SCALPLE (sp?) the thick S30V blade will push cut tissue paper and split hairs!! I have never had a knife this sharp, I am hooked! I just need to scrounge up the money!

A scalpel sharp Skirmish should be enough evidence, beg or borrow the money, you need the EdgePro.

I wonder what I might send them to play with? A dull sebenza s30V?

A strider GB with a strange angle blade maybe? very hard to sharpen. does the offer say anything about what they will take I wonder?

Hey, that sounds awesome? where/what do I have to send to get a free demo? Just tried to resharpen my endura 3... I know nothing about sharpening... let's just say, I am open to options other than $5 reshipping plus $20 for re-edging and new point-smithing. Anyway, thanks for the info, and would they reprofile and all that good stuff? I could send pics, but I promise you, they are not pretty...

Yeah Ben does an excellent job on demo sharpenings. I sent my BM 710 M2 in for a demo sharpening and I've never seen an edge so finely polished. I plan on buying an edgepro very soon.

Ben and Sierra is a bunch of awesome people. I was hooked on buying one after talking to them and experiencing how considerate they are taking the time and explaining things to me. It is a major investment ($500 for the Edge Pro Professional Kit #3) but I knew that I would make uses of this system and I wanted to get professional results. I am also able to sharpen most scissors with the optional attachment. I am very happy with the purchase and the results I get. With the polishing tapes, the edge of my folders and customs has a mirror like finish. Amazing, simply amazing.

Ben and Sierra are very nice and responsive, and Ben can sure can put a beautifully polished, rediculously sharp edge on a knife.

where/what does one have to do to get a demo? I always liked the idea of try before you buy; and this sounds perfect. What address? Send $ for shipping? What is the process?

There have been a number of threads regarding the Edge Pro....and I don't recall any of them being negative. I have both the Apex (actually, I gave the Apex to my married son who likes to cook) and the PRO. There is nothing quite like it out there. It should be a once in a lifetime purchase.

Goldangit, I just about talked myself into spending $40 on a Spyderco Sharpmaker, and now y'all got me thinkin about a $125+ Edge-Pro! I should have just started smoking crack... :D
