I'm working on a small capper. It is forged 52100, my first full convex grind, 2 3/4" blade. It is aproxamately 1/8" at it's thickest point. I was wondering how thin I should take the edge before heat treat. I tried to search for it because I'm shure the info. is out there but it did not seem to be working tonight.
