looking to get the edgepro apex soon upgrading from a sharpmaker i would like to know what kind of results that the users of the edgepro apex can get i know shavng sharp is very achievable but i would like to know what kind of results that can be had with the 120 220 320 600 stones i plan on getting the apex 4 and yes i have some cheap gas station knives to practice with any advice is more than welcome thanks.
 
This is very achievable on the EP. Some guys can do much better than this. I also suggest that you keep your sharpmaker. The EP and the SM make a great pair. Rebevel on the EP and touch up on the SM. It's easy to get back that hair whittling edge by just touching up on the SM.
