how is this sharpener on large knives like a swamprat battlerat, tops condor alert, or a marbles trailmaker? most of these knives have a .25" thick steel and are about 91/2" long. i noticed when i did a search most people were using the edgepro to sharpen kitchen knives.

I was able to do my CC Recon Scout (7.5" long, also 0.25" stock blade) but it took some patience (I have Edge PRO model). The machine is truly wonderful though and results are great. Kris
