I couldn't be happier with the EdgePro System. It did disappointed me in a very minor way, though..

(Title got you to look, though :p )

The stones all came wrapped in a blue dish cloth. I'd be carring the case, and inevitabley hear the clank of stone-on-stone. This worried me a little, so I though I had better protect my investment. I cranked up the missus' 'ol sewing machine and made me a stone pouch out of mid-weight canvas. It rolls up nice and tight, and fits right into the compartment in the case. I made room for two more stones and the height pin as well. Mr. Dale take note. This might be the sort of thing you'll want to include in the future.

There are also silcon knife pouches in a variety of capacities that might work for this sort of thing. They are availabe from the likes of www.knivesplus.com, and elsewhere.

That is SWEET! I like what you did there and wish I had that for my setup. Contact me offline if you would like to tell me what all that entails, and by that I mean how much you would charge to make one for me! :D :D :D

I just leave my stones on my work bench. I don't tote them around with me. For people who aren't taking their Edgepro out and about, having a nice custom stone holding pouch like that would obviously raise the price of the kit. Rather than include it, he should offer something like that as an optional accessory. Nice work on the stone holder! :)

That beats the crap out of my bubble wrap solution. I'd be interested in one if the missus is going to crank a few out for sale.

Truly Jemelby is a Renaissance Man with too much time on his hands. That being said, I'm buying some canvas tonight and showing the picture to my wife. I like to think that I'm a guy with varied domestic talents, but sewing ain't one of 'em.

Very nice and creative solution to the same problem (if you want to call it that) with my Edge Pro. :D
