I found a Schrade 140 0t that looks similar to my Uncle Henry 144 in a hardware store and they're asking about $50.00 for this knife. Just wondering if I should jump on it?

Verify it a US made 140. it better be for 50.00.

I wouldn't if I were you, you can pick them up on e-bay for about $20.00. The price in the store is somewhat relative to final factory retail pricing.

Maybe it is a 14OT? If so, jump on it. 140OT is a TPR Safe-T-Grip knife, green rubber handle.

If you haven't gone back yet, when you do, ask to look in their knife case if possible, and see if you can get it and other Schrades for a good price. Ask about that multi knife discount.

These hardware store finds are held in high regard here.
