Hey did anyone ever receive one of these folders that was tight all around? Found one of mine in my gun cabinet clean out yesterday. Must have been in there for years. Buried under other knives and socks. Took it apart and cleaned it up and rebent the liner lock side for better memory but still not dead nuts solid. It's almost like the blade stop was a few tenths to small to allow for solid lock up. Now it don't fail or anything with a solid spine whack but pressing down on the blade it moves a c-h. Ok that's it. keepem sharp
 
I have an EDI Genesis II and I have not discovered any problems with its design or quality control. My only complaint about the design is related to the bead-blasted blade finish, it stains too easily.
 
I've got both a Genisis I and II. Both great knives that have seen more than their share of use over the years. Neither had any issues what so ever.
