it is certainly an interesting book. each plant has a color photograph. then a written section with each title: FOOD, MEDICINE, OTHER USES, DESCRIPTION, and if necessary "WARNING"
it is certainly not for the beginer, i would NOT cinsider this a plant ID book, but more accurately a book that discusses traditional uses for a given plant, tree, shrub and so forth (no fungi are discussed) it is interesting.
has anyone else had any esperience with it?
it is not the singular book i would recommend to someone on wild edibles and medicinal uses. but it certainly is a great reference and history on plant uses (going so far as to state which native nations used a given plant most extensively)
IF THERE IS INTEREST, tomorrow i will photograph a page from the book (each plant gets a page in this book) and type out what the book has to say, and take a picture of the pictures displayed, perhaps then we can, as a group, decide how concise it is???????? let me know!!
