HAS BEEN FIXED!!!:thumbup:

I got word from a guy who just bought one, and he can't even fling the EDIT out of the sheath, so that's a good thing!

Also got word from Germany stating the newer sheaths are secure and the first generation loose ones CAN be sent back for a replacement sheath!!!:thumbup: This is great news because even I stopped buying EDIT's due to the sheath issue. NOW, the EDIT FB can be carried safely, and securely!!!

TJT...I hope ya remembered to send one to me with my light...:confused:

That is good news! I have been eyeing one of these, and I think I would like the size relative to the Subcom FB. Nice pics, Daywalker!

The Edit comes with the lanyard too, right? That is pretty sweet. :thumbup:
 
I received my Edit today Chad. It has the insecure sheath. Must I send it back to Boker USA for replacement or will they just send me a secure sheath so I can begin carrying my knife sooner...hint, hint?

I'm kind of surprised these loose sheaths weren't caught by QC folks.
 
Awesome! I thought I had a unique problem. I'm with Willieboy on this one, it would be nice if they would send it out first.

Anyway, what's the return address?
 
OK, here is what I have so far. The new shipment of Edits have sheaths that fit. I have not received any replacement sheaths at this time.
I will be contacting Tobias to see when we are getting them, or what the game plan is. Until then, anyone with a loose sheath, please send them, knife and all, to Boker USA, at my attention, and I will handpick a replacement for you. Just make sure to let me know why you are returning it.

Wow...seems like EVERYTHING from NGK is AWESOME!:thumbup:

Weird, I wonder why the sheaths on their EDIT FB's are strong? Oh yeah, because it's Mr. Dye's store that carries them that's why!:p

I am happy to hear you did not get stuck with a loose sheath...like I have.

It is a fun knife for sure. Hope they straighten out the sheath issue.
