Just a quick post because I gotta go run some errands.
I recently received an EDIT FB from Boker USA with a 2nd Gen. sheath!!! (Mahalo Terry!!!) The first batch of sheath's sucked, and they either worked, or they didn't. Mine didn't. :rant: So whenever I wanted to use my EDIT, I just threw it in my pocket. After that I attached it to a Mini Tek Lok and belt carried it. However, I REALLY wanted to carry this one on a Mercharness, or simply in necker mode...
Now I can! I plan on adding my EDIT to a Mercharness, but for now, I am just happy to carry it with the supplied break away chain as a necker. OBTW, here is a pic of the 1st and 2nd Gen sheaths. The 2nd Gen sheath (the one that works) is on the right. You can see that there are small "tabs" at the mouth of the sheath bottom. This made all the difference in the world!!!

My carry EDIT with some knives I had on me today...
I removed the lanyard that comes with the EDIT because it adds too much "bulk" when carried in necker mode. For me, it's no big deal though, as it still has excellent retention in hand minus the lanyard. Been cutting a bunch of stuffs, and as biased as this may sound, I really love this lil' FB!
Oh, one more shot with my duty light...the lanyard attached to it done by Scott...the CEO of The Lanyard Zone!!! (Go check him out and tell him Chad sent ya!!!:thumbup
