I found this one:

were the serrations made by somebody else, not by Busse?

Personally I think these serrations aren't made by Busse. But I'm not a pro and I'm not sure, but I haven't seen this kind of serrations on a Busse. But she sure is a beauty:thumbup:

I don't think the Busse shop did that. It looks like there are some "reverse" bump style serrations. To my knowledge, Busse has never done that.

Are these the same style of serrations?

They are very similar. A large cut, then 2 fine cuts, then a large cut and so on.
They are scaled differently.
That's tough to say.
Judging by the rest of the blade. I'd say it was modded by someone (sanded the primary grind, probably why there's not Busse or Custom Shop logo.) So i'd also guess the same person did the serrations. Looks like a nice job though.

Can't speak to those specific serrations on that piece being factory or aftermarket, but I have seen that style serrations on a couple other different pieces from the factory...

note that the image of the ripper is highly skewed by the camera angle. The terror monkeys had very low serrations, wich appear visually as the complete opposite as the ones in the ripper pic.

The serrations were made by a German Knife Maker !!!
They are about 2.5 inch long.
He also changed the edge of the knife.

Guys, take a REAL good look at the pic, enlarge it if you have to, but the smaller serrations are not serrations at all, really, they are bumps, but they cut wickedly!
Some Kabar knives have the same serration pattern.
