Edited Thread Titles

Spark, I have noticed that I can edit my thread titles while in advanced editing, however, that new title only shows up in the thread itself. It does not change the title when someone posts to the thread and it moves on up in the list of new posts. The old title stays. Is this the way it is suppose to be? That is ok by me, but if it could be changed, I believe many would make use of it, after cooling down or rethinking an inflammatory statement in original thread title. Not that anyone ever makes a mistake.

Whatever you decide is fine by me, but I think it might be of help to the forum.

Apparently users cannot change thread titles after a time limit. I've done everything on my end to allow it. Sorry. Think twice, post once.

Wouldn't life be so much easier if we all thought about our words before speaking or typing. I know mine would be, my wife would like it that way too. If I thought it out before it came out.

Seems as if the rule in carpentry is much the same, measure twice, cut once.
We can live with the Title thing, Thanks for trying.

I was wondering about this also as it would be nice to put "sold" in the title of for sale ads after you sell something so people know. Also if you reduce a price, people would know.
