Right now...if I edit a post...I get the basic editor. Then I have to click "go advanced" and then the A/A symbol to get to the WYSIWYG editor.

In other VB boards, I get a WYSIWYG editor first.

I've played around with my preferences in user cp but it's still the same.

For a few months back...it was going to the WYSIWYG editor about 1/4th of the time....

But lately....basic only.

Bug in the software?

or just me. :foot:

:D

Are you hitting Post Reply and getting the basic editor or are you going to Quick Reply?

I believe he's talking about clicking "edit" on a message after he posts it.

I always have to click "advanced" to get to the advanced editing features. I dunno....

Cougar - yes.

I make a post, then need to edit it. In order to get to the WYSIWYG editor, I have to click "go advanced" and then the A/A button.

I only mention this....because I actually do this quite frequently to make lists...or mark things sold, etc.

...and like I said, it's a feature I've used on other forums. If you click "Edit" - it takes you right to the WYSIWYG.

Try this:
Go to your User CP
Select edit options on the left
Go to the bottom, you should see the Message Editor Interface option. Try changing it to the advanced interface & saving your options.

:)

edit: Never mind, just tried it and that doesn't work. :(
