Editing thread titles

I just discovered that I can't edit my own thread title. Any particular reason? If at all possible, could you enable that option?

If not, I'd like the title of the Battle Mistress Passaround thread (link in my sig) to read "Signup: Busse Combat Battle Mistress Passaround". (the "E" has been removed)

I could be wrong, but I think you can edit the title as long as no one has replied. Once there is a reply, you can't change it. I could be wrong, it could be a time thing, but I have changed titles before.

Computers are inscrutable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, at first I thought it depended on whether the thread had replies yet but it's not that simple -- there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.

Moderators can do it a different way that always works, so I can do it for you.

Mods & such can do it anytime - I don't know about editing it before or after anyone has replied. Interesting question though.

Well, I have no idea if there is any way I can do it myself, but my problem has been solved. Thanks!
