Have any of you seen knives by Edmund Davidson? I remeber liking his knives years ago when I looked at Knives Illustrated Mag. Is he still around and does any one know if he has a site or where I might find his knives for sale?
 
I just bought my first Edmund Davidson integral on Saturday, at a local knife show here in Eugene. It is a Loveless Design Straight Hunter like the one on Davidson's website, only with micarta handles. I bought it from Bud Lang, the famous editor, and it is really nice. For being such high quality, I am amazed that it is so hard to find other photos of his work online...
 
I love his work, an integral Loveless style hunter from him is one of my dream knives. I have had the pleasure of handling one breifly at a knife show and I was very impressed. Regretfully they are a little pricey for me right now.
 
Thanks guys! I remember really liking his stuff and called him once years ago to let him know just that. He was a very nice guy and took the time to talk with me for a while. This was 10 years ago and I was pretty young. At that time all I had were pics in mags. Now I am finally buying stuff. I may have to look into his knives again and see where it takes me.
