Well, I have had this knife stashed away for a while, and thought I would share. I am on the fence of posting it in the for sale forum, but know nothing about it.
It is hand engraved on the tang 1-23-95
Someone told me the steel is likely ATS-34. I thought it was BG-42... One thing is for sure: it's the sharpest most comfortable knife I have ever held!
I have never seen another quite like it and look forward to more info.

Here's another Edmund Davidson, one that has similarly been hangin' around my place for awhile. Elephant ivory, about 12" overall, scrim by Linda Karst-Stone.

Beautiful! Not my style, but anything ivory is cool in my book. By Davidson is a plus!
Are you offering to trade? :)

Good, because there's a sub-forum for that. ;)
Thanks for sharing.

Now if there is anyone here with actual info. related to the model of knife I have, please chip in.
I just stumble upon one that looked similar to mine and they called it a "work" knife?

No, I'm not

Yes, I know, thanks

All you really need to do is go to edmunddavidson.com and he will give you all the info you would ever want to know about your knife. Edmund is a fine gentleman and has always been completely free with such info.

Good advice, Bob. Sometimes the best answer is the most obvious one.

I wish it went that smoothly.
Not Only did I do just that when I purchased the knife, but I also requested to purchase a copy of his book
I sent two emails
I do not want to sell it, I wish I could keep them all; However , My family is in a situation where we need some funds, and something has to go. This is one of the last pieces in my collection I would sell.
But if someone said it was worth something, it might make more sense to let this go, than a few of my other knives
This knife feels amazing in hand, and I would miss it if I sold it
If its only worth what I paid for it, I would rather keep it and make it my camp knife
Thanks for the info, I might try again, I really want a copy of his book, and if I had one, I would definitely keep this knife

The best way to contact Edmund is by calling him via the telephone # listed in the contact page of his website.
He doesn't even give his e-mail address so that's obviously not a good way to reach him.
I don't believe he spends much time on the computer.

Well that explains why I never heard back from him.
Figured email was the best way to get him a photo of the knife.
Thank you,
Evan
