Educate me on Russian knives

My job will take me to Russia for a couple of days in July, and a fellow from Russia will be coming to Argentina either in June or August, so this is a good chance to get my hands on a couple of Russian knives. The thing is, the only brands I know are Kizlyar and Rosarms, and I'm don't even know much about those two.

Any of you guys have other Russian brands to recommend? I'm looking to spend around $150-200, I'm interested in utilitarian knives not wall hangers or purely defensive knives. I'm pretty broad in my tastes, so I'm open to suggestions (fixed, folding, natural or synthetic handle materials, etc.). No etched blades, though (unless it's something pretty small).

I have been to Russia three times...and have yet to pick up a knife there. Why? because the sporting goods/outdoor shops there pretty much have the same knives that I find in stores in my home area. Some cool stuff must be there, I just never found any.
