Why does my HEST have this amazing kydex sheath with polished edges and my RC-5 have one, but my RC-3 has the injection molded style. Hey, it holds the knife great, fits on my belt nicely, but, does not have that snap and pop of the Kydex. I also love the look of the Kydex sheaths. I also find it easier to replace the knife into a Kydex sheath when it is on my hip. Is that something Rowen would make? Or already makes and I am unaware. Or, do I have to buy from another maker?
Thanks,
Tom

ESEE doesn't have a kydex sheath for the ESEE-3. If you want one you'll have to get someone to make it for you (or do it yourself). There are lots of good makers here on the forums.

I doubt Rowen makes sheaths of any kind......I would think they are sourced from somewhere faaaarrrrrrrr away.

Customs aren't too bad

I too prefer kydex over the molded sheaths, but they aren't bad.

My RC-4 has probably one of the nicest kydex sheaths I've ever had. I really like it, nicely made sheath.

Thanks for the suggestions. I just emailed Mr. Shotty and we shall see what he comes up with. I'll of course post the finished product.
Thanks,
Tom
