I've been protecting my guns and knives with this substance since I commanded a Scout Platoon at Ft. Lewis. I used the same stuff in Korea. It is everything it is advertised. I put it on a new blade and let it sit for 2 hours. Then wipe it off. On a gun it will dry with a film that will protect for a long period of storage, (I wipe all my guns yearly, 44 handguns in my collection including 4 Colt SAA's)
On blades after I wipe it off I put Flitz gun wax on all metal parts and rub in briskly. This has done the job on my field knives very well.

I used to use EEZOX to clean and protect my guns. I found the product to perform superbly as both a lubricant and protectant.

Unfortunately, I did not like the smell. I used it for a few months because it worked so great but eventually, I had enough and settled on RemOil and/or Tri-Flow for guns.

I like Boeshield T-9 for rust protection on knives but do not use it inside gun mechanisms because of the thickness of the film.

I just recently learned about that stuff from the Seecamp foum. I NEED to get some of that stuff.

I use Flitz on my knives.

I use it on all my guns as well. Has never let me down. Doesn't gunk up or attract/ hold dust or dirt. Makes cleaning them simple too. I haven't bought any in a couple of years, a bottle lasts a long time. Where are you guys buying yours at? I got mine at a random gun shop that I stopped at while I was on a trip. Would like to know where to find it regularly.

I went online, there is a hardward store that ships and I got 2 cans and a small bottle to put in my Tactical bag.
