EFROS Canadian Belt Knife

Congratulations! I saw that on his Facebook page. Great lookin' knife. What are the dimensions, steel, etc?

Hi Don,

Thanks for the kind words. Yikes....as it's been several months in the making.....I forget the dimensions/steel. I know it's about a 3" blade and 4" handle if memory serves. I wanted a small EDC in this style.

Congrats and enjoy! Brian is a good guy and his designs have come a long way! He is putting out some very handsome and well-thought-out knives these days.

That's the best version of the Canadian belt knife I've seen since the original. I like how the handle is offset from the blade in order to take the fingers out of line with the edge, just as a Canadian belt knife should be.

Congratulations to you and the maker!

Hi all,

Thanks for the kind words. I too think it turned out beautifully! SCSU74....hey....we should start a club! Is this your first Efros ? Nice looking knife you got coming. Enjoy.

Hi B the B,

Thanks man. I really like the design of the Grohmann #1 Canadian Belt Knife but.....I wanted a smaller EDC "fixed blade" version/type and shorter OAL.
I also wanted the blade to be a little bit wider/more belly than a Bird and Trout knife. I'm sort of "having my Cake and eating it too" with this knife. I believe I can do a lot with this little EDC knife including simple food prep. I think it's going to be a winner.

Regards,
HARDBALL
