I finished this one up a while back but have had a lot of trouble getting a desent picture. Its a moasic pattern that I came up with and my wife said it looked like something from the ancient egyptian times, so I called it the egyptian bowie.

OAL- 13 3/4" w/ 8 3/4" blade. Top clip is dull.Steel is 1084 + 15n20. N/S guard, spacers, pins and pommel, with black vulcanized spacer material, handle material is Ringed Gidgee. I'll try to post a couple pics.

Thanks

Bill

Yeah, Bruce I have a bunch of time in just making this steel, thats for sure, it was well worth the extra effort through. The sheath has a bunch of time in it also, its made from 8-9oz leather for the back and 3 different layers of 4-5oz stacked for the snake inlay front. Its all hand stitched and I was sure glad when this one was finished.

Thanks
Bill

Very, very fine looking package. Great job on both the knife and sheath!!! Hope it finds a good home soon before you change your mind about selling it......Ray
