So, good friend got engaged, we went to a Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered some spring rolls and fresh rolls to start out. They bring out 4 apiece, problem is, there are five of us. No silverware as of yet(authentic I guess). So I whip out the LUM...nope! I had my Chinook on me, so I used it. Everyone at the table kinda scoots back a tad, and watches me slice these fried critters up, not one bit of flaking or smooshing. Now they are impressed. So, the knife goes round the table, folks asking questions. By the end of dinner, friends are asking where to get such useful implements, and asking if I'll go with em to help with purchase. Oh yeah I'll help em...need more Spydie addicts, that way more designs come out :D

That's pretty extreme man, using the chinook to convince people ;)

My buddy recently got his very first Spyderco, a Harpy. Nice! Nice!

My buddy isn't an extreme knife nut but has always liked blades primarily those from a company called...well let's just say their initials are C.S.

I had to tell my buddy that his little Harpy was probably better constructed than most of C.S.'s folders put together! :)

SPYDERCO -- ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES! :D
