I have found a eickhorn FS with no serial number and with no leather sheath.

I though that maybe Would be one of the greek special forces but it does not have the emblem of the greek raiders or the serrated edge, i think the plastic metal sheath fit with the greek one.

Some one could give me some piece of info about my dagger.

Thanks Bladers.

Hello,
I saw your post and wanted to answer earlier but forgot.

I don't know what the Greek SF use. Nevertheless, if they work like other Nato SF, then there is no set standard for combat knife on the field. The FS is issued more or less as a ceremonial and traditional thing.

Eickhorn makes these knives in bulk for this purpose for many Nato countries, so don't expect any kind of serial number. They were available for civilian purchase for a long time, but discontinued recently. It is extremely overpriced for the quality you get. They now release "limited edition", but it is actually the same knife with price pushed higher.

It is made from the same line as the my military issue bayonet, the B2000/B2005. The only thing going for it is hard to break with rather thin blade. All the rest are very mediocre.

Overall, it's a functional decorative with historical symbolic, but really meaningless in all other other aspects, at least for me.

Thank you for your answer but i above all meant if the knife is legit(i think so for the quality) but the configuration this blade with this sheath it is legit? I can not found anything through Internet, if i write eickhorn FS i just found the fs2000 limited edition with the serial number and the leather sheath.

Sorry, I couldn't figure out what you were asking for, maybe why no one answered you.
Anyhow, it is hard to say "legit" in this case. The knife is supposed to come with leather sheath, but it is compatible with other type of sheath, including the one you have in your picture. If I recall correctly, you used to be able to request the hard sheath, not made for the FS but usable with it, separately.
This is because back when FS was still the to go knife, many people carried hard case sheath instead of leather, they used sheath from other knife and bayonet instead for more durability. Might not be factory legit, but legit in practical use.

Ok i going to remate the question then.

Someone knows if the sheath that is original from eickhorn and the fs dagger that is original but is not from the limited edition, could be sent on pack originally in stores or something?

I am afraid about that someone bought the dagger for one side and the sheath in the other side and they mix them.

Because as a collector i want a original entire product not 2 part of 2 diferent original ítem.

And i can not find the pack fs with the sheath searching on Internet, just something close like the greek fs eickhorn but mine It is not these version

I hope i expose my question clearly now, thank you for your answers anyway you are the only one that try to help me.

I have an Eickhorn FS 2000 given to me some 20+/- years ago by the company CEO Jörg Eickhorn. The knife has no serial number and both the knife and sheath are exactly as in the photos above. Thus, the one in the pictures should be genuine, too.

BTW, picture search "Eickhorn FS 2000" gives more than enough results;)

The knife looks legit (I owned a numbered version with the leather sheath) and the sheath you show is the same sheath Eickhorn makes for their bayonets

So the knife is likely genuine. Is it the Greek Special Forces knife?

I can't tell if yours has the Raider logo?
No it does not, but i am happy that it is, following your arguments, genuine a lot of thanks.
