TK's article. or should I say SARD's "press release"?

Oh! And BTW, it would be more proper (so as to avoid confusion) to ommit the name "Eickhorn" when referring to WaffenTechnik Borkott & Eickhorn (WBE) products.
Even though an original key member of the Eickhorn family is instrumental in the running of WBE.

However the Eickhorn "Squirrel mark" presently does not belong to the Eickhorn family.
It is now renamed as the Original Eickhorn-Solingen Company Limited (OES).
and is owned by a UK based corporation.

No doubt there is much confusion as to which of the two Eickhorn companies, really spells "Eickhorn".
Its almost a situation similar to what befell Ek Knives...
Or which is the Original or Genuine thing?
Like choosing between a Victorinox or Wenger SAK (before the Victorinox takeover).
Personally, WBE (the newly reinvented Eickhorn family entity) is probably going to give OES a run for their money!
As WBE's current products appear to be very innovative and are especially very tech savvy, though some models are very likely to be described as being given a cosmetic make over largely based on the old product line of OES.
It's my guess that the SARD isn't going to be the only knife to talk about when one speaks of WBE.
And currently I wouldn't want to make the mistake of dismissing excellent OES products either...
