I just signed on and found an email from Kismet congratulating me for the Eight Thousandth post on these forums.

Back on the other site, before BladeForums, I remember finding the HI Forum and taking about a week to go back and read every post before I posted myself. That was when the entire HI forum put together didn't have Three Thousand posts.

If I figure out what I learned between then and now, I'll tell you.
 
I have always found your threads and responses to be rational, reasonable and logical. :) ;)
 
Congratulations, Rusty. That's quite a few posts. I've enjoyed a good portion of the ones I've read. :D

I can't imagine why you concern yourself with amount posted- unless you're a big bag of artificial gas....erh er uh; did I mention how much I've come to rely upon gas and yours in particular?

I'll be hanging for the duration.

Anyone with as much heart as yourself has to be worth a few laughs as we age....

yeah...I wish Spark would bring the member's list back.....never heard why it was disabled. I enjoyed watching the Yvsa/Rusty race....If I remember right, it was Gollnick at 3rd, Keith Montgomery at 2nd, and Bill, of course, at number one. There are probably 25-30 people over 5,000.
 
..it is such a silly subject- this idea that amount of posts equals something- yet on all forums post counts and longevity bring status.

Yet, I sniffed a little when I noticed Dan was way ahead of me in count- I was gone six months and dropped in the 'race'. That didn't stop Dan from talking. Now Dan, out of courtesy, you could have at least slowed. But no.

I still smile when I recall what Semper said of me; "Hell, we can't shut him up."

I reckon the post count is sorta like my internet meadals. Check em' out if you haven't already. It's almost like having 3 purple hearts. :rolleyes:
 
All I know is that Bruise is way ahead of me....he has a Flower Medal, a Running Man trophy, a Commemorative Bust and a giant "Y" Statue which is clearly Claes-Oldenburgian.....
