Wanted to express “a little gratitude” (if Google Translate is correct) for

, as today I received the Hubertus lockback and several pounds (it seems) of German knife catalogs, magazines, and other knifey publications from his recent giveaway here following his factory visit:
The Hubertus lockback is super, and I’ll carry it from time to time to remind me of the generous spirit here at BF. Plus, I don’t think I’ve ever actually owned one. The catalogs and books have great pictures, but besides “messer” and “stahl”, I’ll need to study up on my German to completely capiche. Regardless, a really neat package to receive from someone on the other side of the ocean.
