EK blade coating

I am assuming the blades on the new EK models are painted and they can be stripped and etched just like any of the other Kabar 1095 knives in the Kabar line up

If so, has anyone yet? Or have plans to?

The product description says that the blades are parkerized. Remember that these are KA-BARs the way that Beckers are KA-BARs.
